Hi everyone. Ike here. I shot a social media short to promote our visit to the Aledo Opera House this coming Saturday October 17th. If you want to chill with some of your friendly neighborhood Iowa Ghostbusters and watch the best movie of all time, we’ll be there for their 6 & 8 pm showings. Who knows, you may see a couple of us at Cheers across the street after the 8 o’clock showing (Spoiler: you’re gonna see us at Cheers after the 8 o’clock showing).
Special thanks to Nathan Sipes who shot, edited, and provided the equipment for the shoot. Also special thanks Nate Willits, and Alicia Dierikx for making my little script come to life (Alicia runs a mean leaf blower). Nathan runs the Opera House which is a really cool venue and Nate and Alicia run Visit MerCo which promotes all the cool happenings of Mercer County in Illinois. As a new resident of Aledo, this was a fun introduction to the town of my favorite hobby.
